Participant
Don’t pick up the phone. Everyone who knows me knows to start leaving a message and if I want to talk to you I’ll pick up. The only telemarketers that leave messages are automated ones. I’m too cheap to pay for caller id so I guess if I had that feature I’d probably use it and only pick up for those I know.
We don’t answer phone calls between 6.30 – 8.00 PM. That’s the time when the telemarketers prefer to call.

ParticipantYes, signed on Monday. Loan will be funded on 4/30. They even gave me a partial refund of my application fee for the delay and honored all previous conditions. They also used the first appraisal.

Participant
We briefly glanced at those homes. Zero interest for us. Honestly, YUCK! Tortured floor plans on tiny lots with views of your neighbor’s dining room. IMO there are lots of better options if you’re willing to carefully look and wait.
But to each his own.
Most Asian buyers are used to cramped quarters. To them these homes are spacious and reasonably priced. No wonder that there are only few other buyers.
