    Condo conversion…
    I think the per unit cost pre-conversion as about 230k

    It makes that first flip harder. After the first one, you would have the cash to get contractors license.

    Sure some smart contractor will take equity in exchange for his/her supervision of the remodel. You can do the work, it just needs to be done to friggin code.

    That’s a good idea…
    ask to see the builders insurance policy, get a copy. Thier insurance should stand behind their statements.
    Then go to lawyer, with paperwork… see what shark says… is it possible for this to be invalidated if builder declares bankruptcy?
