Meh, all you have to do is live in a construction site for ten years what’s the big deal…just learn to cough and time your speaking around airplane landings…
Seriously though, I’d take that over Carmel valley any day of the week. That house is amazing, and for 300k I would jump all over it. Sadly it will proably get the IKEA flipper treatment and remove all charm.
jstoeszParticipantDo not misconstrue my previous statements to be in anyway an endorsement of the current system. I believe a completely socialized system may even be preferred to the Frankenstein’s monster that was just implemented. Unfortunately both are a long cry from the kind of system I would favor, which would be a high deductible individual market (w/ no employer provided care) combined with a bare minimum socialized care model reserved for those who were truly and painfully destitute.
I am not just talking generic medication, but even first come first served endless wait times. Hospitals more akin to 40’s triage centers than modern standards.

jstoeszParticipantSeriously…permabear, it is really that simple? What about the unintended consequences? What about people like ucg’s brother? Isn’t it possible that it is just one more step to mass irresponsibility? I guess we already have that, so what is one more government teet to suckle!
