To bring this back on topic; did the 700 generation not know what they should have known but they could not have known because they have not known it any other way in their country?
Hmm, they should have realized that the government that was providing early retirement to hairdressers because of the hazarduous conditions of their employment wouldn’t be able to maintain it?
I don’t think that’s a 700 problem, I think that is all the dole takers are just kicking the can down the road. Cali will have the same problem. Fundamentally, the State, whether Cali or Greece, will not be able to afford retirements at 55 at 100% or more of their base payment because of overtime.
Think about it, if you retire at 55 you are looking at 30 years of retirement. Thirty years of work, thirty years of retirement. Basically, that means their real pay is 2X their listed pay.
While I agree with your assessment fully, I find the fact that the average citizen in Greece considers a job for life in government administration the best possible outcome for a potentially successful young employee in their economy shocking.

Participant

You can get a used copy for $4 on Amazon with the test and the detailed explanation for various areas to include work, relationships etc.
I just took the online test, I am apparently an idealist. All the various reports come to $39, I might purchase. Within the idealist setting the reports are supposed to tell me whether I am a Teacher, Counselor, Champion or Healer.
Given my outstanding record as Little League Manager and being seen as one of the more knowledgeable, open and sharing swing mechanics gurus in north county, I might guess teacher. Hard to say unless I pay up.
CardiffBaseball,
The reports will provide you the information on yourself, but using the book can allow the comparison and contrast in styles between individuals to be assessed. I find that if I know another co-workers tendency I can adjust from my norm to make out working relationship a better fit.
