Lots of homes have owners that have lived there for 30, 40, 50 or more years. Many have been handed down. People like that just don’t sell unless they can get their price. I’d recommend anything you can afford that’s not between 3rd and 4th. Even 3,000 sq ft lots will double in 10 years.
Sounds like if you come off the bridge and you want to get to the Country Club Area, you’ll probably want to make a left on Orange. You’ll then make a right on 5th, 6th, etc. So, you have the signals at both 3rd and 4th to contend with. For the people coming up the Strand and going to the base in the morning, how are they going to get to the 3rd Street gate? Are they going to have to go to Orange and make a left on Third? I bet they have a couple of lanes open in the morning to make a left from Alameda onto the base at 4th. A guess it’s an improvement?
