    The reason why I posted the question is because when the bubble was in tact – we had many people telling us to purchase in this area.

    There are several reasons why I refused to move there & these reasons are all common sense for our life.

    7 months after close of our 1st home & I’m so happy to stay in North County. We moved from Esco to San Marcos.

    When we were in the market I wished more properties would hit the market. I tracked foreclosures, became pals w/ asset managers, & eventually scored.

    Now I’m bummed that my nice neighbors just listed a short sale 🙁

    Bitter sweet….

    However, the government reminds me of an Escondido hooker walking Mission and Centre City Pkwy…

    so far, Costco seems the best. Now, is ordering online better?

    I’m more of a touch, smell, and discuss shopper.. However, if it helps – I can order via net.
