I looked at an oddly shaped condo this weekend for grins in PB. It’s the last one in the facility, 2 bedrooms 2.5 baths with a den and a garage. The master has a tiny closet and the room is tiny also. The shape of the living room is odd and doesn’t really allow a great setup without a wall mounted tv. (which the realtor raved about the setup). It also has a patio on the roof w/gas fireplace and views of the ocean (and all of garnetts craziness). The windows face the apartment building next door (you can literally say hi to them every morning). When I mentioned the price for what you get (the garage isn’t attached) she mentioned that the porch has gutters and cutouts for water to be routed, which she said is not very common, and of course the patio upstairs.
She also mentioned that the “experts” were saying that this is a buyers market and next year there will be an “uptick” in sales again and prices.
“uptick” I bit my tongue, my wife and I cordially left, aftewards she laughed and was happy we were renting.
My landlord has many houses/apts in the PB/north pb area. He takes pride in not raising rent. He has some tenants that have been renting with him over 8 years, and they are getting steals for rent. All he asks if he does this, that you treat the place nicely. I refer all of my friends because of it. He’s rented 3 more places from my referrels.

do you guys think we could get to 1999 prices? I was in Temecula and for grins stopped at different builders, and they were slashing prices like crazy.

Ha, I bought a 3bed 2 bath condo w/garage in Delavan, WI for 65k. 1400sq. ft. I used to complain about it because I thought I was a fool for buying a condo vs. a house.

What is the point of this thread? I could see if people put areas they were interested in and what they hope to pay, then people follow up and say if they think it’s possible or not.. I could see that and think it is very informative, but this? I don’t get it.
