XBB: I agree in principle with the pushback, but look how the Governor survived the recall with policies that dinged many people across the board.

The general public hardly even knows about these 2 bills. Add, that many residential lots just don’t have the space to build which means fewer potential people who will care.

However, I do think these bills are not constitutional and I’ll bet we will see them overturned on legal grounds.

And the politicians go on their merry way with little political costs incurred.

I am thinking there is plenty of lots who will build multiple junior ADU’s and create 2,4,or 6 unit apts and not split the lot. Especially in the coastal and close to tech jobs areas.

Yes, this will change the flavor of neighborhoods. While I am against this in principal, I too will take advantage of this opportunity.

It was quite shortsighted to expect these new apartments, ADU’s, duplexes to be low income housing at least in the coastal zone. It is just the opposite and a windfall for owners with large lots.

Nobody is going to offer Section 8 housing in these areas.

Still think the elephant in the room is the integrity of the mail in ballot and need to ID actual voters.

Even if Newsom was recalled, whomever replaced him would be stonewalled by the Democrats in the legislature and especially the democrat support staff. So effectively no change to Newsom’s policies.

Almost forgot, do you have a water softener( kind with salt)? Rarely, they will fail and release balls into the water.

Does this happen to every fixture? Take one apart and look for debris on the filter screen. In a water heater the cold water enters and is piped to the bottom of the tank through what is called a dip tube. Sometimes, this plastic pipe will dissolve into very small pieces -pencil tip size, which get into the downstream pipes and ultimately will clog similar to what you are describing. Also, check your shower valve cartridge for this clogging too. If this is the case, a new Wh, and flush lines and clean each fixture filter screen will do the job.

So my barber is lamenting how business has not returned since the lockdown. I ask if he is voting for the recall of Newsom. He says, “guy gave me $600 so I will always vote for him”. I reminded him Newsom policy is the reason he didn’t work for months. Didn’t matter.

Just an anecdotal story supporting EP statements of the future of Calif. We have a ways to go.

Are there many AirBnb’s in your area so close to beach? Can’t remember which one but one HOA had very stiff fine $2k for short term rentals. Of course overturned by new law with 30 day min leases.
