ParticipantI would tend to agree Bin Ladens death should have been kept quiet. As a coward who ran away from the “Great Americans” he was of greater value than as a Martyr.
Ob did get a big rise out of the reports, and has wasted to time in front of cameras, but I doubt there will be much bump left by 2012, so if it were a big stunt it did not seem like Bin Laden was going anywhere in a big hurry.
As to Pakistan not knowing he was there? I have heard of hiding in plain sight, but this takes the cake.

Participant
Entitlements? Yes, I want the money back that the gov’t took from me all my working life and gave to someone else. I’d say I’m entitled to it, wouldn’t you?
If not, give me my money back now!
This is probably a VERY good idea. The cost of medical care and lifespan of recipients is far greater than was calculated in contributions.
With regards to the whole economic collapse, anyone want to demonstrate a realistic payment plan which pays off the national debt and all private, business and municipal debt, along with the total owed on entitlements?
400% percent income tax for ten years?
Fact is no one wants inflation, so the option is default. The big question is who gets defaulted on? Not a good time in the world to be owed anything by anyone I reckon!

ParticipantThe obvious answer to this problem is to legalize drugs. Free convicted druggies and lay off 90% of the prison guards.
