ParticipantWhat ever you do, don’t buy anything yet. The bust hasn’t even really touched the higher priced homes yet. So far the subprime loan resets have decreased home prices in lower and mid range homes up to 60%, but next year the higher tier alt A and prime exotic loans are due to reset. In a few months you’ll see some real downward price movement in the higher range houses that you’re looking at.

ParticipantThe lady from the St. Vincent de Paul in Lake Elsinore returned my call, but now I see that the girl’s original post has been flagged.
Does that mean that she wasn’t legit or is it just the policy of craigslist to delete posters looking for handouts?
If it’s the latter I’d still like to give the girl’s phone number to St. V so they can follow up if anyone still has it.
I sent the girl the St. V number too, so hopefully she’ll get some help from them if the situation is legitimate.fredo4
