ParticipantAs far as I am concerned SD big R and little r have already earned their commissions due to the GREAT info they present on this forum. Some other realtors hereon sometimes seem a little full of themselves. I am looking in an area of Calif outside of SD after being out of the country some time. The first realtor I contacted I made a point of asking some questions that would indicate a somewhat knowledgeable buyer. He came back with basically “Now is a great time to buy” and “My area is different”. And we wonder why realtors get a bad name.

Participant
Outsourcing is overrated. Normally, I haven’t seen work that I personally would like to do that is outsourced (yet). Insourcing is a completely different thing, which in these days make a lot more sense.

That all depends. In some industries, like aerospace, with large engineering staff it is extremely widespread. BTW, what is “insourcing”?eyePod

If just $2 trillion of the $7 trillion the government has so far committed for the financial sector were to be channeled directly to the unemployed, each worker would receive $200,000
Can you show your math? I get $20K, not $200K

ParticipantI guess I will mention the Baja California Norte wineries like Santo Tomas and Monte Xanic. Their high end wines in my opinion deliver some real value.
