If these conforming rates are for real, I definitely see many here buying in CarmelV and maybe even rentals if allowed in Chula Vista or Temecula.

ParticipantYoung people driving big SUV and trucks?? No, those liberals are driving there civics and cheap toyo lowest end pickups because they cant afford a real truck or Beemer. As more women are driving the bigger vans,etc, the stats are more likely overstating case for largest vehicles. How many 20 somethings do you know besides Paris crowd driving Escalades?

BTW, that Honda at 90mph+, where did you get that info? I heard they were drunk and there were racing decal on the card. Ban those honda now for males<30 if you care about them.

TORRANCE, Calif. (AP) -- American Honda said today its April U.S. auto sales rose as higher demand for the automaker's small cars offset a drop in sales of light trucks.
Honda sold 135,180 vehicles in April, up 6.9 percent from 126,419 in April 2007.
Car sales jumped 16 percent as demand for the Accord rose 19.7 percent and sales of the Civic rose 17.2 percent.
Sales of light trucks fell 4.8 percent as demand for the Alabama-built Pilot dropped 30.9 percent and sales of the Element fell 14.9 percent.
So far this year, Honda sales are up 1.5 percent from the same period of 2007.
Honda's U.S. shares fell 13 cents to $32.97 in midday trading.
