ParticipantWe can’t just build more refineries and nukes cause there is a massive shortage of petroleum and nuclear engineers in the USA. All you freaking Harvard smarty pants want to work your 80 hours a week on Wall St performing the backbreaking spreadsheet analysis to figure how much you can steal from the shareholders and factory workers while you pathetic geeks from CalTech, Berkeley, etc want to slave 80 hours a week to make your shiny now Facecrap app and new shiny little new smartphones. Shove that phone and that spreadsheet you know where. Smart people used to build things in this country, now all they want to do is play with their micro keyboards. China can build a 1000 mile train tracks up mountains in a few years and we cant build 5 lousy bridges on I-15 in two years. Now we’re going to have to import H1B from France, China, India to work on real projects.
BTW, Exxon, et. al also refuse to build refineries because of typically low profit margins.

ParticipantAllan,
Well no one wants to engage you on the Pres. Clinton era policies in Iraq because there was virtually ZERO coverage of effects anywhere and both sides have vested interest to ignore it. I bet if we start a poll and ask about it, 5% would believe any facts.
The liberals will not want to believe that their man would do that and the cons can’t acknowledge that Pres Clinton did anything in Iraq cause it would undermine their point that he spent his whole time frolicking instead of bombing Iraq.
President Clinton was so effective because he was quick to read the people and didn’t spare the retard from death penalty in AK in 91-92 because that’s what the people wanted. He wasn’t wed to some liberal policy, etc. (bad pun!) Now someone like justme may denounce that policy but all I can say 8 years baby, nothing to laugh at.Allan, BTW your freedom rant is kinda scaring me aka 419.

ParticipantJustme: Just what is your major malfunction? Even if your version of facts are more valid, your entire position is rendered worthless by your childish name calling that degenerates not only you, put your entire liberal party at risk. I’ve made this point many times, that liberals are extremely selfish with respect to political process. Why do you let the most hated women in America and the most junior Senator with terrible baggage run for top ticket? If these two bozos(with all due respect) cared about their party they would have stepped aside and let a more moderate person such as Webb, Montana Governor, Kansas Governor run and they would probably win easily. Now look at my party, we tow the line, rarely make stupid comments that will hurt the party.
Some friendly advice: take the high road so Rove, etc can’t touch you. Rove and his buddies are watching, you will never work in this town again with posts like that. Never join any group that is even remotely affiliated with the dems or peace, justice, wacky tree huggers, etc. Most people in hiring positions are rebs and they can easily find out your game. Spare me the BS about a free country, do you want to feed your family or spout out about ABC that you cant do jack about. Follow Machiavelli and Sun Tzu.
