Participant
Anything that I would have driven to Parkway for in El Cajon I’ll now drive to fashion valley or UTC for. Since I live in Allied Gardens, El Cajon is about equidistant as UTC. Even if UTC is slightly higher, I’ll pay an extra buck in gas to save 10’s or hundreds of dollars in sales tax.
At least someone is buying. Saving hundreds of dollars on extra 1% means you may spend 10K+ at the mall. They should send a limo out to pick up high rollers.

ParticipantJust like FLU did, you have to negotiate, threaten to walk.
At least if you ask for a discount, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing two cases in which subscribers got almost 50% knocked off their bills.
“As competition builds between cable companies like Comcast (CMCSA) and Time Warner Cable (TWC) and telcos like AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ), service providers are slashing rates to keep subscribers.
This is not good news for the cable and telco companies, of course. While reducing churn is a good thing, slower monthly ARPU (average revenue per user) growth — or perhaps ARPU shrinkage — is bad news”

Participant
Time Warner offers Cable, Internet and Phone Bundle for $100.
I am wondering if there is a way of hooking my computer up to the TV and then routing everything through the computer.Anyone doing that already.
If you have decent PC video card you just need the S-video (or HMDI on fancy video card) out to TV and the line out cable from PC audio card to receiver. For my low end laptop, I have VGA output hooked up to my LCDs (most LCD have PC input), and a Y cable from headphone jack of laptop to RCA input of my receiver. Stream netflix, decent picture, OK audio only stereo.
monoprice.com has all cables you need at very low prices.
