ParticipantGood one. I think this needs to be posted periodically in many political threads.

Participant
Personally I’d be scared to death to drive on the “wrong” side of the road. It takes time to adjust :)
And add those traffic circles/roundabouts. I don’t think I will ever figure out how to navigate around those 😉
I will be like homer simpson as in

ParticipantMy another pet peev, about commodity ETFs. Look at charts for things like UNG & VXX. They are utter disasters but dumb money keeps on coming into them – and smart money keeps on shorting them!
SEC should really stop these – totally unsuitable for an individual investor.

Thanks for the link. I found this section especially distressing ..
The commodity ETFs weren’t living up to their hype, and the reason had to do with a word Wolf had never heard before. As he browsed the blogs, he says, “I’m seeing people talking about something called contango. Nobody would define it.” Wolf called his broker and asked about contango. “I don’t know what it is,” he replied. He called his other broker, at Charles Schwab. “He didn’t know either,” Wolf says. “He said he’d ask around.”
It always pisses me off, that complete morons get to become brokers/investment advisers on wall street and tend to easily raise millions of dollars to manage! It is like a blind leading a blind!
