According to Energy Star, every 1 degree increase in temperature will cause a 2.25 to 2.5 percent increase in energy usage. That means that a garage refrigerator will use 45 to 50 percent more energy in a 90-degree garage than in a 70-degree one.
Bottom Line
Use an energy-efficient refrigerator in a hot garage if you truly need the additional storage space. However, you will keep energy usage down even more by making do with the kitchen refrigerator.September 19, 2012 at 3:18 PM in reply to: 4.4% annual salary increase for the next four years for Chicago Teachers #751583EmilyHicksParticipantThe evaluation was to be done by taking the test scores of prior year and compared to the current year so that it is more fair.
For example, If a student scored at 20 percentile in 4th grade and then 40 percentile in 5th grade then the teacher is considered an effective teacher because the student improved compared to his peers. On the other hand, if the student scored at 90 percentile in 4th grade and then 60 percentile the next year then the teacher is deemed to be ineffective.
EmilyHicksParticipantAssuming that these houses will be sold in the high 600s, will it positively affects home prices along Callecristobal?
EmilyHicksParticipantha, not if you buy from Amazon.
I wonder who they will tax once the rich (white) folks are gone from the states? In another 30 years, many people here will be anchor babies and their illegal parents. They will probably pay almost nothing in taxes, drop out of schools, join gangs, sell drugs, prostitution. It is already happening in Compton, Santa Ana, Anaheim, and large parts of LA…This state is going down the drain.

EmilyHicksParticipantSdrealtor,
Could you please provide me information regarding ticketing cost, possible discount about your trip? I am interested.
ThanksEmilyHicksParticipantdelete
EmilyHicksParticipantMy friend likes to talk about this money (as his own money) and I think it is to make up for his severe underemployment as he is working as a machinist despite having a Master degree. More than half of this money is not even his, it is his father’s retirement money.
So here you have a gorgeous looking girl with supposedly very high income going for a short, average looking guy who is underemployed for the last 7 years. She has no friend. Only one “brother” which my friend met at a restaurant. I told him something doesn’t seem right and he shouldn’t invest in this deal. Hope he is bright enough to see it through.
What’s he doin’ tellin everybody he’s got $300K cash?
EmilyHicksParticipantNo, they actually met in person and went to Disneyland, Universal Studio (her choice of places)…Which to me is very weird since they are both around 30.
EmilyHicksParticipantI think it is a decent deal. Almost 90% of houses under $330,000 in MM are in Contigent.
EmilyHicksParticipantPrius gas mileage on the highway is around 50 mpg ±5mpg depending on how you drive. I consistently get over 50 mpg.
Jetta’s combined mpg is 34, Prius’s is 49. That is a 44% difference. Prius’s total carbon dioxide emissions are 4 tons per year, compared to 6.2 for a six-speed manual VW Jetta diesel according to the EPA. These numbers assume 15,000 miles per year, 45 percent in the city, 55 on the highway.
If they make a diesel hybrid, now, I think that would be great.
as Prius gas mileage on the highway isn’t all that great. Their biggest advantage is in stop-start driving. It has always been my contention that the average Prius driver would get better mileage and thus less environmental impact from a Jetta diesel. Your numbers might support that. I wonder if we can get HOV stickers for diesels? (Ha Ha)

flu & et al
how does this one $425k (+$100HOA) in RP compare to MM ?
http://www.redfin.com/CA/San-Diego/11189-Avenida-De-Los-Lobos-92127/home/4669447%5B/quote%5DEmilyHicksParticipantThis data is deaths per 100 mil cars which is not the same as death per 100 mil miles driven because we know that Prius drivers on average drive a lot more than an average drivers hence the need for a Prius.
That’s pretty good. I wonder if it has to do with Prius drivers being overly cautious, at least from what I’ve observed.
It all depends on how you slice and dice it, but it isn’t in the lowest 25 as given in the IIHS list:
http://www.iihs.org/externaldata/srdata/docs/sr4605.pdf
It does well within it’s size class (small), tying with the Mazda 3.
The five cars with the lowest driver fatalities:
Audi A6 4dr 4wd
Mercedes E-class 4dr 4wd
Toyota Sienna
Ford Edge
Nissan ArmadaThe five cars with the highest driver fatalities:
Nissan 350Z 2dr
Nissan Titan crew cab
Chevrolet Aveo
Chevrolet Cobalt
Nissan Titan extended cabInteresting to note a 350Z driver died on I-15 last month, racing another car down an onramp to the freeway at Lake Hodges.
This was another great deal in Mira Mesa:
http://www.redfin.com/CA/San-Diego/7407-Mason-Heights-Ln-92126/home/4562310I am wondering why some people found great deals like these and then some people horribly overpaid.
wow… this makes the OP’s Bannister house seems like a great deal for the new owner but we all know “pending” means nothing unless it sold :)
