Participant
I’ve always wondered if Jeff Bridges emulated Sammy Hagar for this role similar to the way that Johnny Depp simulated Keith Richards for his Jack Sparrow character.
Seriously, look at that photo above.. isn’t that Sammy Hagar?
No, he played himself. I mean it is exaggerated as all good theator is, but he was just himself. I got to know the man before I saw the character, and he may not like to admit it, but he really is that cool of a person.

Housing is a basic necessity, and we should not encourage “investing” which drives up costs for people who simply need to buy shelter for themselves and their families.
Youd do alot more to allievate pricing pressure on this class of housing by reducing the number of houses you can buy with subsidized loans. Currently it is 10. It was reduced to 4, but that went away rather fast. If LL’s had to pay market rates on the money they borrow, and the people you speak of get a GSE loan, it would be a much more obvious, immediate, and fair way of getting the lower middle class to own housing.

ParticipantThey are gonna fail?
When you tell people what they want to hear, do they get tired of hearing it? No, they find reasons to blame for the problems their half baked ideas didnt work and keep on believing.
How did that Eagles song go,
‘they keep on calling and another new starry eyed messiah answers the call’,
something like that.
