ParticipantOh I think this will go on alot longer than 2010-11. The high inflation, socialist society where the Gov owns atleast of piece of everything seems more and more likly to me.

ParticipantDamnit SD_R, Here I was gonna come on here and drop a link to another Gov bombshell and I find you already beat me to it. π I thought I was gonna be special once.
I more and more believe that we will see a huge double dip. I really believe that we are being set up for a big second drop like we saw in 2008, cept this time with inflation up the WAZOO. Basically as soon as things get going again inflation will go crazy, people wont be able to adjust quickly enough, the FED will totally miss it AGAIN and only address its symptoms in hindsight, and well go into a inflation recession on the heals of our deflation recession.
I am still wondering when China gets sick of this.

ParticipantAnybody see Colusa County? 26% unemployment, when it was only 11% in October. WOW!
And whats up with Mono County? 6.8% and it is inland as inland gets. Is that where Mammoth is? Is everyone there just flipping $11 burgers or renting skis?

ParticipantId guess that construction and RE related industries are bigger here than in many other states. The bubble was in CA moreso than just about any other state, and the industries that supported it will have to suffer more here in CA than just about any other state.
