liberals are intolerantly tolerant
and I got nothing better to do today.
dumbrenterParticipantJust curious….
If a person wants to take on multiple spouses, will the IRS allow that person to take multiple standard deductions too?
What if somebody wants to marry their pet? Can this pet be the primary beneficiary of the insurance and other assets?
In our own lifetimes we have seen places in this country enforce their laws on interracial marriages. We have grown up and moved on from that point. Do any of you remember the speeches made during those time by church leaders, doctors, senators and congressmen about the dangers of the interracial marriage to the society? Did any of those dangers come true?
Today, it is about gay marriage, tomorrow it will be something else. Maybe it is time to ask… why should any marriage be related to taxes/insurance/inheritance etc. ?

dumbrenterParticipantAnother consequence of rising interest rates is that the money flocking the MBS, CDO will flee back to where they came from in an instant. Why deal with this crap when you can get a better rate from a more stable place. There will be no more “easy money” coming down the chain and the banks will be forced to realize whatever they can get out of the properties they are sitting on right now. In addition to this resulting in lower prices, the new mortgage applicants now have to prove that they “deserve” a loan in addition to putting a good percentage as a down payment. So why should anybody who has good credit, can pay >20% down in cash and has a good stream of documented income worry about rising interest rates?

(1) People who drive in the city with their headlights on high beam. Absolute lack of civic sense on how they are blinding their fellow road-users while they themselves are not gaining anything.
(2) Folks who assume its their right to park as they like in the parking lots. You see those big white lines…they exist for a reason. When I get rich enough, I will put a lawyer on a retainer and simply run into these vehicles that cross the markers when parked. It will be my way of philanthropy. My contribution to the society. So, when you hear on evening news of the crazy fellow running into parked cars, you know I got rich.
(3) tailgaters….here is an everyday situation: a lady on phone comes screaming towards you on the freeway, sets herself about 5 feet behind you while the traffic is moving at 70 miles/hour. You get out of her way by changing lanes, but a few seconds later she follows you and is right behind you again…..
