It’s crazy, isnt it?
I stopped by the OH recently and the realtor/sellers agent is actually living in the house (renting it).
He seems to think that because the house is a “former model” with worn furniture thrown in, it’s worth $862K.
If the house sold in the $400s, I could buy an awful lot of furniture and upgrades – including a bitchin’ kitchen for that extra $400K.
My guess is that the owners are desperately upside down…and clueless!
Oh – and the Zillow estimate is hundreds of thousands $$$ less than the asking price…

I’m a little concerned about buying in Temecula. But my husband works in this area (and has a very good, six-figure salary job that he loves).
We’ve decided that we’ll try to stay for 7-10 years, so I’m hoping Temecula won’t crash and burn in that time period….or be overtaken by quarry pollution.
It sounds like the city is trying to annex the land anyway.
