ParticipantI’ve seen the Lennar Community called Stonebriat at Wolf Creek.
Personally, I would not choose to live there for my own personal reasons which include a dislke of the cheap building materials used (the kitchen cabinets feel hollow and cheaply made) and the lots are very small.
I’ve also heard terrible things about Lennar homes from friends in other parts of the country.
No, gracias.

ParticipantSorry, jpinpb…I missed your thread.
I love “This American Life” and Ira Glass. It’s a fabulous and funny show that I try not to miss.
I think it makes it easy to understand how this mess was really just a gigantic, global pyramid scheme built on greed and avarice.
Aaaaarrrggggh….

ParticipantFor the record, I’d like to say that my house is very clean.
We usually have the ant problem in the 2nd floor guest bathroom – where they congregate around the toilet (probably for water).
The main floor invasion(s) only seem to occur when it’s very hot outside.
Great suggestions – love the peppermint idea and the organic Corkies idea. I hate the idea of toxins and poisons in my house or near my animals.
I’m not going to get involved in caulking, etc. since we’re moving in 2 mos.
Thanks, Piggs.
