We also looked at some houses in the area where this place is located. Not as large as the Chelsea Estates place, but was still a monstrosity and not a very good floor plan. I hate these huge homes that are often built with cheap materials that are supposed to look “expensive.” All smoke and mirrors.Ugh.

The absolute definition of “McMansion” IMO!!! I think there is a stunning view of Costco from the backyard, too. My husband actually liked the fact that Cramco was within walking distance – almost closer than parking there! heh heh heh…

dharmagirlParticipantWell, I’m buying a house in Temecula. I’ve come to the conclusion that this is a very nice community and, if I had children, I think it would be a great place to raise a family.
I’m going to hope that in the next decade, we will find ways to be less dependant on gas with alternative fuel sources, new hybrid technology, etc.
I realize this wont happen overnight, but I’m gonna remain optimistic.
Any other thoughts on this?
