I ride utility ATV’s and the National Forests up here have incredible trail riding. You can ride the mountain above Santa Barbara down to Lake Casitas, in the winter you ride through snow. The area I am moving, San Emigdio Mountains,

is spectacular for quad riding, and there are very few people using these trails.

desmondParticipantI do work from home so does my wife. She will have to drive to Santa Barbara (2 hours) a couple of times a month but she works at a hotel and can spend the night there. I have had the same 800 number for the last 15 years so my customers never know where I am. It is only about 45 minutes north of Valencia where a lot of my customers are. Whenever the “Grapevine” is closed from snow, I’ll be “working” at home.

desmondParticipantAfter living (renting a small guest house) in Hope Ranch-Santa Barbara for the last 18 months my wife and I will be moving this Thursday to the Pine Mountain Club area:http://www.pinemountainclub.net/
we found a 3800 sq ft home built in 2006 for $1650/month, unreal! We have a year lease and if we like the area we may purchase, prices and fallen at least 50%. So I will let you know how life is like up in the mountains.desmondParticipantAfter living (renting a small guest house) in Hope Ranch-Santa Barbara for the last 18 months my wife and I will be moving this Thursday to the Pine Mountain Club area:http://www.pinemountainclub.net/
