Keep the graphics to a minimum…………….

When I go to people’s homes I tend to observe their real estate and lifestyles.
Dirty shower doors and moldy frames are common
What’s under the bed????????
desmondParticipantVery helpful dude although the guy finished his cabinets a year ago.
desmondParticipant
Considering I spent the past week camping, hiking, and partying at my friends’ house upstate, then had a long drive back, staying in on Sat. night was about right :)
Did you camp and party in your backyard? You posted on July 23,24,25, 26.
desmondParticipantUSA 98 France 71 (really not bad for France)
The thread was just to rile B-ri, USA BB losing to France? I know he is tired of all his freinds bragging about their old glory days in sports. But bragging is a disease and it is hard for some to stop or even realize they are doing it. Just read the bragging that continued on this thread.desmondParticipantWhat a way to spend a Saturday night.

Your area in no more special than any other in Southern California. The whole place is full of athletes, former athletes etc.
desmondParticipantOpening cerimoniezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I thought it was just awful, bad, boring, and once they rolled out the hospital beds and started talking how proud the Brits are of their healthcare I turned to a rerun of the Shawshank Red.
desmondParticipantWhat is NBC doing with the time difference? Are they showing events live or is it going to be delayed?
desmondParticipantDoes it really matter what happened to all the money? No, rarely those responsible for the fiscal fiasco get punished. In reality it will be the workers that will have to take more hits to their pay for the poor business policies of others. btw, pleading with others on this board that your are right won’t matter one f-ing dollar.
desmondParticipantDosen’t anybody want to “pile on” after FB is now down almost 10% ah?

Priorities are all screwed up here in America. The sports thing is so out of whack with parents trying as hard as they can to see if their kids can get a sports scholorship that it blinds them from everything else. Now, only true athletes get the scholorships. All the bs special training that is out there rarely works and is a total waste of time and money. As far as your friends glory days torture, always keep the comments you “want” to make to yourself. No use bringing them down and think how you would feel right after your comment? It sucks, but I have found out the hard way that opening my big mouth never works..desmondParticipantHoly crap, go get some sleep.
desmondParticipant
Americans are bigger and badder, yeah. That we know.
Of course, there are all types of people in a country. But generally speaking, fat Americans don’t have the moxie, elan and grace of their European cousins. Sit at a cafe in Italy or France and look at the people walking by. Observe the sensual rhythm of life.
Sports is about winning one time competitions.
Good health and quality of life are about staying lean, fit and graceful one’s whole life. For most people, sports is just fleeting glory.
B-ri,
I think you have a very small view on sports that seems to come from the bragging about what “so and so” did in high school. Everybody is sick of that. But look at it this way, there are many minorities or disadvantage kids that were able to stay in high school, then some earn sport scholarships to college, get degrees and have successful lives because of sports. Staying fit after competitive sports is another “ballgame”. -
