ParticipantThanks sdrealtor. So in a sense “empty nesters” both old and young are typical downtown residents.
On another housing blog, somebody noticed that our downtown is the only downtown that people drive out to work in the morning and come in for the night.

Participant[quote=DWCAP]SD_R, or anyone else with MLS access, what is up with this sale. I know the market is falling, but this is significantly below market. Is this infamily or something?

For $295/square feet in Mira Mesa, I failed to see a bargain.

ParticipantI think the foreclosure wave is coming to more affluent areas, like Rancho Panesquito. Take a look at this short sale:
http://www.sdlookup.com/MLS-080048067-10469_Caminito_Rimini_San_Diego_Ca_92129
It is priced lower than other properties but so far no knife catchers have pulled the trigger.

Participant[quote=temeculaguy]cv2, you are confusing us. Are you using the abbreviation CV for Carmel Valley, while spelling out Chula Vista, because you compared CV to Chula Vista when the OP was probably using the abbreviation CV for Chula Vista.

oops! Sorry, CV is for Carmel Valley
