ParticipantHere’s an easy way to prove that that the odds of winning the car are higher if you switch doors after the reveal.
Assuming that you will always switch doors after the reveal, then the ultimate outcome is determined as soon as you make your first choice.
In other words, if your first choice was a goat, then you are going to end up with the car. The chance of picking a goat on your first choice is 66%.

ParticipantI have to agree with Brian P. If there are 10 doors your chance of picking the car is only 10%. The host opens 8 doors that have goats. Your best bet is to switch doors, since the probability of having picked the car on your first choice is still only 10%.
I’m assuming the host knows which door has the car behind it.

ParticipantI completely agree with EconProf, you should immediately contact a law firm that specializes in evictions (are we allowed to give recommendations here?) They may charge a few hundred dollars, on top the court fees but that is nothing compared to what it will cost you to have non-paying tenants in your unit. The sooner you get them out the sooner you can get someone in there who will pay the rent.

ParticipantThanks for all the responses. Does anyone know a good bankruptcy attorney in San Diego? Or how to go about finding a good one?
