Walt,
Not too sure about that. Despite today’s volatile ups/downs, a lot of smart people are bracing for deeper drops in the market. Question is, will the markets continue to tank, and if so, how long with they stay down?
I’m not too terribly affected myself because I don’t have much money in the market (or much money to speak of outside the market). π Being poor has some advantages.
Waky couple of days. Interesting read from thestreet.com:

Be careful out there folks…

CAwiremanParticipantMy suggestion – first and foremost, get a gas grill.
Burning charcoal is dirty for yourself and your neighbors. They are often not allowed if you live in an apartment complex or HOA.
I have at least one neighbor who forces us to close the window due to the nasty/noxious charcoal smell whenever they grill out. As soon as I find out who it is, I’m going to either send them an anonymous note, or complain to the HOA. Its REALY BAD. And, I have a 5 month old on top of it. Do yourself and all involved a big favor, go gas! If you haven’t before, you’ll love it!
And happy grilling!

CAwiremanParticipantMy gut says rebound (whether synthetic or organic). Stocks to be flat, or up wildly. Lot’s of folks will be checking their 401K investments tonight and reallocating to cash or low volatility funds…
