Hoping things settle out and folks like yourself stick around.Since I just bought my home, I’m not upset by not being able to sell it without taking a check to closing. Even in a realistic market, there’s a time delay between buying and being able to turn it around to break even or much less make a profit.

Not too sure about that. Despite today’s volatile ups/downs, a lot of smart people are bracing for deeper drops in the market. Question is, will the markets continue to tank, and if so, how long with they stay down?
I’m not too terribly affected myself because I don’t have much money in the market (or much money to speak of outside the market). 🙂 Being poor has some advantages.
