Just so you know, Rich has already banned one “provocative” regular who crossed the line of decorum one time too many. I will agree with you that there’s been an embarrasing display of piling on, but I’ve been around here long enough to know that these people are not vicious by nature.

You have invited the initial derision via the comments you make and the enthusiasm you display in disagreeing with others. You have been an active participant in the escalation of hostilities that has ensued. Even now you are attempting to get the last word in with me, and I haven’t been swapping insults with you.

Surely you have more productive ways to use your time and energy than to swap insults with strangers on an internet forum. In your place I would just walk away and let it go. If someone else comes back to take another potshot at you then your refusal to entertain further hostilities will just leave them hanging.

Sooner or later someone has to be the adult. JMO.
