That was in 2005 but since then, the frequent wildfires, the man-eating white sharks, the stray bullets from Tijuana and the Padres loosing streak hace people moving out of the city….

That would have been really “stimulating” but resisted the temptation. Instead I decided to spend it (and the wife’s) on new tires for the car ($720) and medical bills for my yearly lab work ($400). These were needed expenses so in reality I am just saving the $1200.

It is from this week and explains how 14,500 condos have been built illegally without permits in just one neighborhood in Mexico City. This is done with bribes at all levels of government. I can assure you construction on both Mexican coasts is going completely unsupervised.
