Firstly, $100-$200 is too little for a good working dishwasher. That should have been a dead giveaway. Secondly, dishwashers are inherently prone to quick wear & tear due to water, detergent, moving parts, seals etc. No sense in buying a used one. I don’t think the seller intentionally cheated you; This appears to be a case of mistaken buying.

Costco has excellent deals on Panasonic Plasmas. Also, 2 year warranty can’t be beat. Just bought a 42″ and I am very impressed. (My only complaint is single RF input).
