Participanta brokerage repped both sides.
In fact we are using the same strategy (to make offers on REO). We have no buyers agent and agree to be represented by the sellers agent. We figure he/she will be *very good* to us.
Why not use the system to your advantage instead of complaining about it? We figured this may happen as soon as REO sales started.

If you are planning to invest 2.5M in a property, you may be shocked to know what may happen when you don’t have any contingencies and make a largely cash offer on a REO. Your down payment may end up being able to buy much more than you expect. (I have read 2.5M properties need 35%-45% down payment).
