When I lived in SD, the correlation between recessions and peak hour freeway traffic was near 100%. But I visited and drove on 15 North and 5 South on a Friday evening a couple of weeks back and it was almost as bad as anytime I remember. You may be right; But I haven’t seen it yet.

What the heck is happening? Don't they realize they are becoming just well dressed beggars when doing that? Why drive if they are too poor to afford gas. They should start relying on other means of transport. What are they doing for insurance if they can't afford gas?
