ParticipantI’ve stopped looking except for entertainment purposes. My rent hasn’t gone up in years. Unless you want to live in the outlying areas like Temecula (which is nice if you work and live there), there still don’t seem to be a lot of good deals available. My advice? Get used to renting. The people who are in those places aren’t going to drop the prices until they’re forced and guess what, they’re not going to be because they’re going to get loan reworks. As for the bank foreclosures, those are being held back with help from the government and your tax $$$. Sucks but that’s the way it is. Welcome to the American Soviet. Get out and enjoy the sunshine. Go ahead and paint the interior of your rental. Who cares?

Participantthe cheerleading bear, on the other hand, is trying to potentially profit off of others mistakes and misery, to bring down the value of the whole system, to basically make us all “poorer”. but really, the bull is just as much trying to profit off of other’s misery and mistakes.
Actually some of us just want to buy a decent house in a nice area without taking on excessive risk.

ParticipantI think it’s time to start moving homeless people into those vacant properties. There are certainly plenty of them in my neighborhood that could use a roof over their heads. At least my tax money would be helping a human being rather than just helping a bank keep up appearances.

ParticipantThe more curious question I have is…With a population of 1.1 billion, how come we don’t see more athletes from India?
There are lots of athletes from India. Ever heard of a little game called cricket?
