Participant
There might be an interesting angle too if you borrow from your 401k and get laidoff. I don’t know if it triggers any loan repayment acceleration.
I was told that depends on the program administrator’s rules. It often does.
I would check that out. Also, if you borrow from your 401k, contributions go toward paying off your loan balance and not 401k future contributions.
Same as the above. Our program administrator allows simultanous payoff and contributions. I.e. you can add to your 401k account before you pay off the loan. One of my guys is doing it.January 15, 2009 at 11:46 PM in reply to: Does it make sense to borrow money out of 401K to refinance? #330154BGinRB

Participant

I remember seeing a pathetic “let’s guess OCRenter’s address” thread somewhere.
What was so pathetic about it?
He was giving away so much information, he practically wanted someone to guess his address.
Ah, I see, it was to make his wish come true. How sweet.

The whole ‘industry’ (there is no added value, there is just a bunch of lazy loud mouths using ‘anecdotal evidence’ to scare/goad people into paying a racquet, hence the quotes) reeks.
The only thing that surprises me is that OC could not restrain himself from bragging about his purchase.
What was your page rank, anyway? You might be able to get some decent $$ for that property. It will help pay a lawyer.
