Participant
It is a new community in the best school district. Other than that, I can’t think of what’s so great about it.
I think Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar Elementary, SOlana Beach Elementary and Carmel Unified are all ranked higher than Poway Unified.
It is new, not that far from employment centers and more afordable than CV. We’ll see what will happen when the novelty wears off leaving mello-roos and HOA behind.

Participant
Re/Max’s case is beyond lame.
I hope Rehava can recover all damages and costs from these knuckleheads in the judgement.
I don’t think Re/Max is suing for infingement. They are probably raisng opposition, which is part of the process.
There is really no need for an attorney in trademark process – PTO has good web-based system and they encourage people to use it. It costs $325 to register a trademark, the form is simple and the process is easy. Unlike with patents, which require certified person to file, anyone can do it.

ParticipantFunny. I guess everyone can raise opposition, but PTO will grant trademark to rehava.
Rehava trademark #77479625 includes text and drawing, while all Remax trademarks are typed. There is just no ground for reversal.BGinRB
