Joshbarnaby33ParticipantTG is definitely an expert in this field. I would defer to his wisdom. Much of what he says I have understood intellectually but failed to internalize.
I thoroughly lack a posse. Part of the issue is that my friends by dint of hobbies are in many cases older. At least the friends that I interact with regularly. My college friends have in most cases moved away or moved away and into different phases of life.
urbanrealtor, no dis-respect received. I’m not the easiest person to get along with. I have sharp edges, but then so do most people worth getting to know. Anyone can appeal to the masses, just keep your abs tight your hair straight and STFU.
As to reasons why I am single, I’m reasonably well aware of them. I don’t feel it would enhance this thread at all to go into the minutae. Suffice it to say I have a checklist. Its longer than yours, shorter than many and I’m actually open minded about most things. I’m just quite vocal and very upfront about the ones that are deal killers.
My issue and the reason for the thread is not knowing who I am but in figuring out who I’m compatible with and ways to meet them. At least I think that is my current issue. I could be wrong.
Oh and urban its not so much that I’m lonely. I like being in a relationship. I’m not crying myself to sleep because I’m not, if you think that you are incorrect. I’ve never looked back at any of the relationships I’ve had and thought it was time wasted, but then, I’ve been lucky that way.
