barnaby33ParticipantNot normal heights but stopped in at an open house in bay park, half a block from Siesel’s market. 525k for a 1095 sqft 2/1, no view. Now that is insanity. Oh but it had granite and a nice gas range!

barnaby33ParticipantAngryRenter.com is a project of FreedomWorks Ok so what? I wouldn’t care if Angelo Mozilo was sponsor as long as I agreed with the point of view.
I believe your post is oriented towards trying to dissuade people from signing the petition. Jason are you saying that in this instance you are actually for any of the proposals being floated? If so you are probably posting on the wrong site, unless you have facts to back up why.
Being against bailouts is neither right nor left wing. Attempting to use partisan sounding rhetoric won’t change that.

barnaby33ParticipantIts been my experience that downturns in general lead to increased competition for enrollment. When people lose their jobs, they try to get education to get a new job. It used to be say 20 years or so ago, that the majority of college acceptances were from high school. Sometime in the 90’s (early I think) it switched to being more JC transfer students and re-curving professionals. For example in my computer science program we were almost equally divided between kids like me going through the system for the fist time, vs adults who were already in the work world and re-curving to make a better living.
