ParticipantSo if you are smart enough to wait it out while prices are going down what to say you are not going to be dumb enough to wait too long to jump back in.
First housing prices always take a long time to baseline and rise again. How do you know someone didn’t buy a house in 1999 after all the dust have been settled? Personally, yes, I did in Seattle (fully paid) :), but I rent here in SD at least for now.

Participant1.2 million dollar homes. 20% down you need to make at least 300,000 a year to afford it…I wonder how many of your neighbor either put 20% down or making 300,000 a year especially with new families with small kids (very interesting).

ParticipantPeople who brought those houses do know PB and MB school district is one of the worse in San Diego right? I can see a house within La Jolla school district selling for that much.

I thought Wells Fargo is still AAA rated for both of their banking and mortage (one and only!) Don’t know about B of A.
