That’s because that’s the only real 4G network instead of just being a marketing term.
My point exactly. That’s why I put 4g in quotation.an
Participant

I bet those Louis Vuitton purses that re made either in China or Vietnam are of higher quality than your non name brand Made in USA.
That is debateable. Many designers are riding the wave of their reputation now, reaping the profits while reducing their quality/craftsmanship and manufacturing cots. Not sure about Louis Vuitton. That’s never been, nor never will be my price range.
If you’re talking about the copycat ones, that’s a different topic. I still question the quality as compared to something made here. Personally, I try not to be a brand follower, but I find it sad to buy a copycat for the name.
I’m talking about the real thing, not a knock off.an

Participant

Or buying toothpaste from mexico…(which by the way, is exactly where almost all your toothpaste comes from these days…check the label you your crest, total, colgate tube….)
Peelu gum – made in the USA. I’ll pay extra for my mouth.
My Colgate from Costco are Made in USA. I only buy Colgate made in USA. They tend to bubble more and gives me a cleaner feeling compare to the one made in Mexico, even when it’s the same brand and model Colgate.I’ll pay more for quality, regardless of where it’s made. I wouldn’t pay more just because it’s Made in USA. Heck, although I don’t like Mac OSX, I have to say they have the best industrial design and exterior quality. They’re also made in China. My point is, just because it’s made in China or Vietnam of some other 3rd world country doesn’t mean it’s crap. It’s up to the manufacturer to set the quality level. I bet those Louis Vuitton purses that re made either in China or Vietnam are of higher quality than your non name brand Made in USA.

ParticipantLTE blows all the other “4G” out of the water. I have my Thunderbolt for roughly 3-4 months now and loving it. I root my phone, so I can turn off LTE if I don’t want the speed but when I want it, it FAST. Faster than my land line. I can get 15Mb down and 5Mb up with just 1 bar. They’re definitely capping the speed if I can get that kind of speed with just 1 bar. Also, once I have 4.3″ screen phone, all the other 3.5″ screen phones feel so small. Although the iPhone 4 might have higher res screen, nothing beat the actual screen size being bigger. iPhone resale value is “higher” because you have to shell out more for the phone. At one point, after a month of release, you can get the Thunderbolt for $100 on Amazon. So, you’ll be paying less for the actual phone, which mean it’s more likely that you can recoup your cost.
