ParticipantI’ve never been loyal to one super market. I go the cheapest super market for the items I need. So I have no issue crossing the picket lines. I didn’t change my shopping habits during the last strike and I won’t change it if they have another strike.

ParticipantEavesdropper, you’re wrong on so many level, there’s no point in responding. However, I can agree on your last point.

Participant
Tempting, but the last thing I need is another electronic paperweight/drink tray.
I talked about the closeout with a friend who is (was?) a big WebOS fan. He said he was tempted too, but his closet is too full of vintage Apple Newtons, NeXT cubes, and other such vintage masterpieces of yore.
Even if WebOS becomes obsolete and there’s no Android port, the device itself will useable for awhile. It has 1.2GHz dual core, wireless N on it and it support HTML5, so you can use it as a media consumption device for awhile. I don’t think it’s a paperweight unless the hardware dies.an

I bought directly from HP on Friday evening but they cancelled my order. I got lucky and found a retailer from Amazon who have some at that price yesterday at 3PM. I decided to grab a 2nd one this morning at 1AM with Barnes. Barnes is sold out now too.an
