Participantarraya: Have you read any other work by Greg Palast? I figured you would have, largely due to his writing(s) on Peak Oil.
I read his book, “The Best Democracy Money Can Buy” a few years back and thought it was excellent. Apparently, Department of Homeland Security is not too enamored of him, they attempted to issue a criminal complaint against him.
This is going to be a very interesting election (and Presidency) in a lot of ways.

My response would have been a great deal more succint and to the point.
Mazeltov, you’re a maggot. I suspect you’ve never served and to question the courage and integrity of a man that survived those kinds of privations is beyond the pale. I’m not voting for McCain and I question much of what he has done during this campaign, but I would never for a second question his courage.
I cannot imagine what living a life of that sort of puerile cowardice is like where you would even think that.
