He is an economist. Neither his Ph.D in economics nor his BS in physics have anything to do with climate change.
If his paper was about how cap and trade will destroy the US economy, fine. But it is not.
Exxon sponsored groups can call him the the expert on climate change, but he is not. Here is the latest data about how Greenland ice is doing great. From actual scientists.

I’ll add him to a long list of physicists, sociologists, economists, dentists and fast food employees opposed to carbon emission reduction.
When it comes to climate change opposition, I’ve seen many better reports. It does not include any new research or data, and it is put together rather unprofessionally. For example, his claim that Greenland is doing great is rather laughable. His supervisor does seem disappointed that he can’t get rid of him. Thats what you get with a tenure in a government job.

air_ogiParticipantIf you feel confidant about Altria’s future, California’s Tobacco securitization bonds at 10% tax-free yield seems like a much better investment, unless you are worried about significant inflation.
I would be very careful with REITs. They had a huge run, most of it not supported by fundamentals.
I would not trust zerohedge either. Tyler is like Rush Limbaugh of financial news. You should not invest money based on a echo chamber noise.air_ogiParticipantIf you feel confidant about Altria’s future, California’s Tobacco securitization bonds at 10% tax-free yield seems like a much better investment, unless you are worried about significant inflation.
