ParticipantI love those beautiful eyes. I think if people were to realize how blended most of our DNA really is, this whole race issue would be a thing of the past. I really hope people become more focused on the issues and the proposed platform than the “race”. I pulled the previous comment because it was mostly intended for you to read. I know you are a private person and feel passionately about the political debate or you would not be discussing your family. I admire and respect your honesty. I did not want to offend the Japanese by implying that they are racist. My husband was mistreated in the orphanage and I do not know if it was because it was the early sixties or because he was an orphan in Japan who looked white. It was a Catholic orphanage. We are just grateful he was adopted.
