ParticipantI also noticed the hens had names and according to one of my relatives that keeps chickens, they have personalities. I think the chickens in Temecula would be preferable to most of the college students in the mini dorms, but that is just my bias. The chickens roost at night the students do not.

ParticipantI would worry more about the predators eating your hens than the HOA not allowing they. There are a lot of coyotes and other small predators that will want to have chicken dinner. The coop should be very predator proof.
