ParticipantI thought it was close, but Obama won because he sounds smarter than McCain. I did not say he is smarter, but perception is everything in politics. His suit was perfect- perfect fit, tie, the whole package. Obviously, Obama benefits from his Hollywood connections. McCain’s tie with stripes was not good for TV and it was too wide. Once again, I am not talking about substance, just perception. Neither of them truly spoke to my concerns. Both were well- rehearsed and it was very scripted.
