Back to Pelosi’s speech, she did it on purpose because of all the Dem. dissent and the Reps. took the bait. You might not like her, but it was very calculated and not just her spouting off. She did it to blame the bill not passing on the Republicans. It was a smart move. We will see what they do next. ParticipantEventually they will ramp the military up faster and I think they will be able to handle the fires before they become megafires. Most of the firefighters were fighting out of town when the Cedar fire started. They are not leaving us in that position any more. I am more optimistic this year, but we are not out of the woods yet.
