I don’t know if I’d call them “New Years Resolutions” so much as overall goals, since I have no real attachment to the calendar year as a period of performance, but…
1) Switch to a more interesting program at work
2) Break a certain income target next raise period (I doubt anybody really cares what it is, so I’ll elide it)
3) Climb more often
4) Hike a lot
5) Shoot a lot more often
6) Run at least 10-15 miles a week
7) Start reloading8bitnintendoParticipantNo, I don’t feel the need to support the employment of people who are tanking their employers with overly large guaranteed benefit programs (i.e. pensions.) If unions would take 401k plans like the rest of us, maybe they wouldn’t be bankrupting American companies.
Toyota and Honda have manufacturing plants here (mostly in the South), and are actually doing pretty well at it.

8bitnintendoParticipant
8bitNintendo, love the handle. Yes I’m looking for something that leads to something serious, it doesn’t start that way. I’m not really interested in kids and marriage to me is a distraction from real commitment, but essentially that is what I’d like.
I get you, I just feel like much of your target demographic (female, ~30, single, financially secure, head screwed on, don’t have baby rabies, interesting to talk to [let me know if I inserted criteria that weren’t yours]) are too busy to be looking for their one and only. But I might be projecting – with work and school and hobbies and and, my head would probably explode if I were also hunting for Mr. Forever Right.8bitnintendoParticipant
8bitNintendo, love the handle. Ah, I missed the part about performance being part of #1. In that case I guess I’m around 1.3 – I want to enjoy (or at least not hate) my driving experience, but I am not willing to “waste” money by buying new or by going all-out with all the bells and whistles. My last car was 12 years old when I finally got rid of it, and this one was 2 years old when I bought it (it feels new to me!)8bitnintendoParticipant
I think you’re actually in #1 but your idea of image is not a BMW but rather a Mspeed 3, STI, Evo camp
