ParticipantThere was an alias called Vertigo
Who expressed disdain a while ago
His views of angst
Or was it just pranks
On real estate in San DiegoIf the truth should be known
That a bubble was shown
And that most could foresee
The trouble indeed
That a house was to ownWhether you missed it or not
On a large or small lot
Despise not of those
With no house to dispose
But who saw the Gordian Knot!34f3f3f

ParticipantI don’t see anything bitter or negative about the original post. There is so much truth in it, you’d have to be blind not to recognize it. It seems that his statements are not aimed at doctors but the “health care system”, just as was Micheal Moore’s Sicko. Having experience of health care systems in different countries, the thing that immediately strikes you about the US system, is that the word “care” sits uncomfortably with the notion of shareholders versus policy holders. Having said that, there is no perfect solution, and criticisms can easily be leveled at any large organization, where traditionally emotions run high. But on balance, an individual’s health should take priority over just about anything -it’s about survival- and a nation that offers health care as a ‘right’ gets my vote.

ParticipantMerlon Ave is down the road from me. It’s almost sitting on the 210 freeway, and although I don’t know what the houses are like there, that end of Colorado Blvd is a bit seedy. I’m sticking my neck out here, but I don’t think that sale was likely to be a bargain.
