The OC Scam
ParticipantI definitely agree with you all with the fact that Zillow is for pure amusement. I do not think that I lost 93k last month that is why I bought my house with a 30 year fixed with plans to live in for many years to come while my children grow up ….

ParticipantAnother funny thing..well depending on who you ask..
I bought my house as a REO straight from the bank for about 35% off …Zillow is saying I lost that 35% equity (which I expected) however my neighbors house next door is worth 100k more than my house according to Zillow but my house is a 3bd 2 bath and her house is a 2bd 1 bath. Don’t get me started on landscaping…. According to Zillow I haven’t lost my 20 percent down yet …I say “Yet” wait till next month …again I expect to lose the 20 percent down in the coming 2 years…
The only concrete data I can find to support how Zillow gets there price is by their “Recent comparable sales” which are way off.
When I search the “Recent Comparables Sales” on two homes the results differ dramatically for the same type of house on the same street same block address when I say same type I mean ..Take a 1922 2bd 1 bath 1008 sq ft house against a 1918 998 sq ft house 2bd 1 Bath same lot 6500 sq ft. This makes no logical sense to me?
Try the search yourself you will see it. Compare your house against your next door neighbor. Come On its fun!!!
